Cal Premset is a rural guest house in the very centre of the village of Arnes, in the Terra Alta region, surrounded by the outstanding landscape of the Els Ports Natural Park.
It was restored in 2009 and entirely rebuilt, while keeping all of its stone walls and every detail that bears witness to its age.
The name of the house (premsa means press) recalls the wine press that once stood at its entrance. On the ground floor you can still see the trulls, small stone vats where grapes from the nearby vineyards were trodden by foot at harvest time.
The house is named after the wine press that once stood at its door.
